  1.     BOYAN Communications is designed  to  interface  very smoothly with many
  2.     other ShareWare programs.  The following programs, which may be obtained
  3.     from the BOYAN Support BBS as well as many other Bulletin Board Systems,
  4.     work well with BOYAN:

  6.     BIMODEM     A unique external protocol  which  allows  you to upload and
  7.                 download files simultaneously.  By Erik Labs.

  9.     CLINK       The external driver  for  the  SEAlink  protocol,  by System
  10.                 Enhancement Associates.
  11.  
  12.     CVTFON      This utility  lets you convert your old comm program's phone
  13.                 directory into BOYAN.FON format.  By Steve Linhart.
  14.  
  15.     DOORWAY     Works with BOYAN's Host Mode to allow you to run full-screen
  16.                 programs, such as a word processor or spreadsheet, remotely.

  19.     DSZ         An external driver for  the  excellent  Zmodem protocol.  By
  20.                 the creator of Zmodem, Chuck Forsberg.

  22.     LIST        A utility for viewing text  files  (interfaces  with BOYAN's

  25.     MLINK       The external driver for the Megalink protocol,  developed by
  26.                 Paul Meiners.

  28.     MPT         The external driver for  the  M-point  protocol.  By Matthew

  31.     OZBEXT      An external  driver for the Compuserve Quick-B protocol.  By
  32.                 Steve Sneed.

  34.     PCKERMIT    An external driver for the Kermit protocol.  By Jan  van der

  37.     PKUNZIP     The utility required to decompresses the  "ZIP"  files found
  38.                 on nearly all Bulletin Boards.  By Phil Katz.

  40.     QEDIT       An excellent text editor  (interfaces  with  BOYAN's <Alt-W>
  41.                 command).  By Sammy Mitchell.

  43.     The  protocol driver programs should be  installed  into  your  External
  44.     Protocol directory, e.g., C:\BOY5\PROT .  The DOORWAY.EXE program should
  45.     be placed in  your  main  BOYAN  directory, along with BOYAN.COM.  LIST,
  46.     PKUNZIP  (and its companion PKZIP), and QEDIT  may  be  placed  anywhere
  47.     within your DOS search PATH.

  49.     These programs have ShareWare licenses independent of  BOYAN's.   Please
  50.     register those that you use with their respective authors!
